Giving Animals in Coron a Second Chance
A Voice For The Voiceless
Sterilisation Programs
Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (CNVR) is a humane and effective way to manage stray animal populations. By trapping, neutering, vaccinating, and returning animals to their original locations, we prevent endless breeding cycles, reduce the spread of rabies, and improve the overall health of these animals. It also allows communities to coexist more peacefully with stray animals without resorting to inhumane methods.
In November 2025 we partnered up with Animal Kingdom Foundation and Philippine Animal Hospital Association to perform a mass sterilisation and anti-rabies vaccination event. The goal was to reduce stray overpopulation and protect both animals and the community.
During the 2 day event we successfully spay and neutured 152 and provided 179 anti-rabies vaccinations to cats and dogs. Animal Kingdom Foundation also gave talks on rabies prevention, as well as responsible pet ownership.

Mass Sterilisation
Sterilisation is key to preventing suffering. We have organised multiple mass sterilisation campaigns to help reduce the number of strays, ensuring a healthier, more balanced community for both animals and people.
Rehabilitation & Medical Care
When advanced veterinary care isn't availabe locally, we go the extra mile for the animals. CAS has transported many animals in need of specialist treatment and surgery to other islands. Every effort is made to give these animals the best possible chance at recovery.
Specialist Treatment
Many of the animals we rescue in urgent need of medical attention. We provide funding for medical treatment, vaccinations and long-term rehabilitation for animals recovering from injury, illness, or neglect.
Street Feeding & Community Support
Our team regularly carries out street feeding missions to provide meals to strays. During these missions, we also provide basic medication.
What We Do
Transformations
Many of the dogs we rescue have faced abuse, neglect, or illness. At CAS, we are dedicated to giving each one the care, rehabilitation, and love they deserve. These transformation photos show just how far they can come — and the incredible resilience they have.
