Born from compassion, Coron Animal Savers was created to turn suffering into safety for the animals of Coron who were failed by humanity.
Our story
2020
During the global pandemic, the dogs of Coron faced unthinkable suffering—many were rounded up and taken to the local dumpsite, left in overcrowded cages without food to survive.
2020 - 2021
When Victoria heard of this, she couldn't turn away. She began visiting the dump daily on her scooter, bringing food to the starving dogs. What started as a simple act of kindness soon became a mission — Coron Animal Savers was born.
December 2021
​With the help of kind supporters, Victoria secured a small plot of land and began rescuing as many dogs as she could. Sadly, many had already lost their lives, but CAS became a safe haven for survivors — a place of hope, happiness, and second chances. The plot was basic with no shelter and was across a river that often flooded.
December 2023 - Today
​Over the years, CAS has grown through community support and donations. It took time, love, and resilience to build what we now call home — with multiple dog areas, ongoing rehabilitation efforts, and plans to expand with a dedicated cat area.
