Adoption FAQ's
How do I adopt from Coron Animal Savers?
Please contact us on Facebook or Instagram and our founder will contact you to discuss further. During the application process we will assess suitability, including whether they will have access to proper shelter and exercise. We do not allow our dogs to be tied on chains, placed into small cages, or left to free roam the streets.

Are they vaccinated?
All of our dogs are vaccinated and spay & neutered. When you take on the responsibility of an animal, you also take on a life long responsbility of keeping vaccinations up to date, as well as regular deworming and flea & tick medication.

Will you adopt a dog internationally?
At present this is not an option we offer due to the logistics and only offer domestic adoption within the Philippines. Currently an international microchip is not available on the island which is a requirement for international travel. We sadly we not have capacity to travel to another island to complete this. However, if you are in the position to travel to Coron and complete this, then international adoption is possible. Please note that we do not offer boarding facilities. We will not board a cat or dog you have found on the streets whilst you figure out how to get them back to your home country. You must take them to the vets to understand their medical status, and spend time with them to understand the suitability.

I'd love to adopt one of your dogs but you don't yet offer international adoptions so how can I still support them?
You can sponsor a dog or virtually adopt them! Within our Patreon there is an option for Sponsor a Dog - This is a set amount each month which contributes towards their food. Or if you want to help them even further you can virtually adopt them - This means that you send a contribution each month for their food but also cover any medical bills for them that may crop up.
